Default Toymods Home Page - where has the old one gone?

The homepage for www.toymods.org.au now links straight to www.toymods.net.au. There used to be a whole heap of info on there, particularly a write up of what engines you can fit in a TA22. I am wondering where this has gone, as I am just playing with ideas in my head and want to see this list of engines. Thanks

they are moving everything from the .net over to the .org
and ive heard a few people from the board/know about the change talking about it happening soon.
and links to pics which were hosted by rod have gone down so im guessing the change is happening atm.

    Wilo,

You are spot on there mate. I'm sure Mos will keep everone informed if we have any unexpected drama's but there are changes being made so some things may go offline for a while. The forums (Both old and new) should be fine tho.

Yes the old site is gone and will not be coming back in the form it was previously. The information will be moved across over time though.

All of the active Toymods site and forum etc will be moving back to toymods.org.au

both forums were up at the same time, this one was only ever a temporary address until they had time to transfer all the articles etc over.

There was an overlap period where both forums were online at the same time
    If in doubt power out

    Hi All,

    Thanks everyone for answering

We are in a process of migrating everything to toymods.org.au, including this site.

Currently the old www.toymods.org.au site is not accessible. The information contained within it will, over time, move into the corresponding areas of this site - this project may take a few months depending on who has time to work on it. We will endeavour to move requested items earlier.

The previous forums are available as a resource and are not expected to be affected by the migration.

The current forum, at www.toymods.net, is expected to move to www.toymods.org.au. URL rewrites should take care of most links but there may be some that will unfortunately end up broken and will need to be repaired manually.

Some items, such as Rod's links, should be back up soon.

As Rod said, there may be downtimes of some resources however most should be rectified within days but if you do notice something that we may have missed or is unusual by all means contact us for clarification.

    Kind Regards,

    Mos.

whatt happens to links in this forum that link to articles in the old forum? are they alright or is that what you were actually talking about Mos?

ie i might say "go here for your info needs" and it points to an old forum article

    Hi,
Links to the old forum are not expected to be affected by the migration. The old forum lives on a separate website that will not be moved so everything linking to it should work correctly.

Also if anyone wants to access the old forums at the moment, the "Old Forums" link at the bottom of the main page of toymods.net still takes you there.

Mos, so the old forums will still be forums.toymods.org.au, and the current one will just be moved to www.toymods.org.au/forums/ yah?
