    Looks like one of our CCG guys will be bringing Neal Bates's 86 to the event this year. Rides will be available, with the you bend it you bought proviso!

    hey guys quick question about the drags day, whats the deal with it.
    is it a full qtr?
    get a time slip or anything for your runs?
    does time start as soon as light goes green or begin when u take off?

    As trdee its only 1/8th mile.
    time starts when you leave the line like all drag strips.
    on the timeslip from memory you get reaction, 60ft and ET.

    You can't really compare times with a real 1/4 mile track as its not prepped the same, I'm a full half second quicker over the 1/8 at WSID than dubbo.

    in saying that its still a heap of fun.

    Unfortunately, I'm giving it a miss this year. Hopefully the old blue Supra will be right for next year with a properly built motor this time...

    Have fun, hope something 'special' happens this year like in previous years... (Looks at Rona, Matt, Justen)...
