I have an aftermarket intake on my 1j and mine is underneath. Had the same problem. Had to grind out
the inside and grind a recess into it so the rubber valve would fit. If its not ground down the Iscv does not
sit flush and will leak like crazy.
as for the TB, I used parts from the original TB to fab up mounting for the TPS. The part the tps bolts to and the key inside were required. Also make sure the TB turns the right way as mine was backwards from the factory and had to remove the butterfly and switch the angle so it would turn the TPS the correct way. Hope that helps
