Default Jzx81 front cut to mx73 Cressida

    Hey guys,

I recently got a mx73 and slowly doing mods to it but the next thing is to go 1j. Can anyone tell me if a jzx81 or jzx90 manual half cut would be the best option and if everything fits in easily or with minor modification Including pedal set up and mounts ?

Any help would be good thanks

i would say the x81 would probably fit better and have more userble parts for the conversion. i think the guys with the x7 bolt the mx83 cross member over which you would be able to use the x81 for it to fit. as for the gearbox cross member im not sure as i have a mx83 which you just use the standed 7m auto cross member.

Use x81 half cut, i have bolted the x83 crosmember in my x73.

Gearbox crossmember should be the least of your worries as mx73 already has multiple holes on the chassis for later model mounts.

Wirring will take up most of your time. Is yours a series 1 or 2?
