    Question TA22 Rear Diff

This is my first ever post hope i am doing it right. I have 2 early ta22 st celica's one is complete one is missing rear diff housing can anyone tell me if a corona st140 disc brake rear will fit there is one located at nearby wreckers. Alternatively can anyone tell me what other rear ends may fit with minimal modifications.

I think an ST140 diff will be too wide and the mount point too far out of whack.

Ideally you'd be looking for a TA22, TA23, RA23, RA28 diff as they are all the same width.

At a push you can use an RA40 Diff as it will fit but it is wider than the TA22 Diff (1410mm vs 1365mm) and the mounting point are a little wider apart. Your suspension bushes probably won't like this.

The ST140 Disc Brakes can be mounted on most T Series Diffs with a bit of fiddling (seach the forums for how to guide.)

If this all sounds too hard I'm more than happy to come up to Qld and pick up said Incomplete Celica and take it home with me. I'll bring my own diff. : )

    Cheers

Fair Enough, But the offer stands

Try putting up a wanted ad in the classified for a TA22 diff. or *A23, RA28 diff. or keep an eye on the wrecking section of the forums, they come up in QLD fairly often.

And like I say if you need a diff to move the vehicle around the yard, a RA40 one will work. And I ran an RA40 Diff in my RA28 for a while, but the bushes got punished.

    Cheers
