    Smile Unique Toymods

    Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to say how great I think Toymods.net is. I watch my boyfriend looking at a whole lot of other toyota/car forums and unless I look at the URL I cant tell which one he is on because they all look exactly the same. The Toymods.net website is not only unique in its layout and colouring but in the people you talk to on here who are real enthusiasts.

The rep system means that what you say counts not just how many posts you make. Cause lets face it we all say stupid things sometimes

The only thing I would ask for is a Log In as different user option. Sometimes the cookie clearing when you log out does not work and having to go into internet options and delete all cookies means losing the connection to Imageshack and other websites. I am sure I am not the only one who occasionally shares a computer with another Toymodder and finds it tedious when you just cant get the other person logged out.

Please let me know if I havent explained that very well

But as a whole I think Toymods is the best forums site going round
    Keep up the good work,

I'm sure the IT guys will be pleased to hear your comments.
Having seen the amount of effort they have gone to (despite how easy they make it seem), I completely agree with what you have to say.

BTW, the cookie thing has been covered in the FAQ, but due to the software (we're hoping the writers will fix this in future update) you need to keep on logging out until it comes up blank. This usually takes about 3 to 4 goes. Then you can keep your saved cookies.

Perhaps you could set up a separate user account in windows?

Fast user switching (XP) is usually pretty effective for me (different purpose).

This doesn't help on public computers, like at work or library etc.

Yeah I have read the FAQ's before. We have tried logging out several times in a row....even over several days in the end I just had to delete internet explorer cookies again. Hopefully this will be fixed with the next update as you mentioned.

3sgte: this is not really practical on the computer we use as we are normally doing other things at the same time. Also logging in and out of XP users all the time would also because tedious very quickly. It also means disconnecting and reconnecting to the internet everytime cause logging out disconnects the usb modem.

We will just have to wait for the next update......any idea when this might be happening?

It isn't actually necessary to log out. (XP)

Just select "switch user" (not log off).

If both profiles are open, the time required is absolutely minimal.

(I'll still cross my fingers for an update for you though! )

Switching users only causes problems if running a wireless ethernet system as xp won't share the wireless connection between logged in users

Absolutely. According to the latest polls and documentation from Toyota in Japan, toymods have argubly the most handsomest guys in the car world. While we also attract the daggy but extremely knowledgable types like old'rollas, we also cater for the non-car savvy pretty-boy types like our very own Hoff-clone.

And... and we have chicks.... and Witzl..... and.. and.. Kirsty.

PS: And we also have Rona. A questionable character at best for a car forum, but despite his handicaps and social misgivings, he's a friendly chap - and a post whore to boot!!!
