Any reason you want to supercharge and not turbo charge?
Im sure its been done before but it would be alot of custom brackets and piping required, not to mention getting a proper ecu to control the afr's etc.
Is the motor built for boost?
I want to supercharge my 2.0 2TG and need advice?

I dont like having to wait for boost from turbos! Custom pipin' and brackets wouldn't be a problem! Just fitted new pistons but could get them ground to suit whatever compression would work best! My engine is on throttle bodies so I have Omex ECU
in my mind a supercharger is only worth it on motors that actually have decent N/A power such as a v8, IMO a turbo would be a better option if you use a stock turbo (ct26) they come on very early
2litre 2tg?
WTF?? they are a 1600cc not a 2000cc
What the hell else have you done to it

Yes I have installed one, but it was on a fuel injected 2TG, for a carbie version there will be some differences.
The main reasons I went SC over a turbo was the ability to turn it off via the electromagnetic clutch, and the added low rev power. Below is a dyno that shows the two configurations of the motor. The red+green lines are the engine with the SC, and the blue+purple are the engine without the SC. As you can see it reaches full power much sooner than without the SC. It hasn't really gained much top end power but I drive like a grandpa and rarely go over 5000rpm anyways.
PM if you have any questions.
