It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tanks of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Any manual M series bellhousing will do from MS65,85 Crown,MX 32 Cressida or MX 10-MX 13 Corona MK2.

How do you identify the bell housing?

Are there numbers stamped on them or do you just have to measure the bolt pattern?

Im looking to upgrade my Mk II, swap its tired old Toyoglide for a w50 or 55 but most Ive seen come from non m family engines.

I would imagine tons of these bell housings would have been thrown away when people bolt Toyota boxes to their falcodores and the like.

Nothing stamped from memory on the W50 compatible bellhousing.

The W5x ones (W55, W57, W58) will have a small 'M' near the engine end, but it will be hard to find.
