Is there a mod to change to RA40 steering colum to tilt Adustable ?

My stupid legs hit the steering wheel. i'm pretty sure the RA40's came out with this standard but finding one is the challenge.

If there is a mod that can be done i'll do it and take a but load of photos while i do it

Maybe a JDM item only? Or a GT thing. You might be able to get one from japan =P

Also worth a try is one off an RT132 corona. Same era, same engines, same steering arrangement, could be a go-er.

After some research, according to toyodiy, most of the components are shared. I'd say it's worth looking into, although the main column has a different number.

worth a look if i can find one lol . It's only ever going to be me i might even pull the dash out and move the mount up 1 inch and fix it there

i have tilt adjustable in my ra28....

did it as part of a rack and pinion conversion - think it is an ra65 column from memory - not bolt in... but doable (do a rack conversion while your at it )
