Check they havent rusted, or had critters build nests in them...Prime them before starting the car...(easiest is pull the igniter plug and crank until oil pressure builds up)
Hi guys,
Just a quick one. I've had the original ct12a's sitting in storage for a year now. Planning to put them back in the car and was wondering if there was anything I should do to them first before reinstalling? Last thing I want is to install and then kaboom lol
Thanks

Yep I had a look at them yesterday and they are not rusted. Was going to clean them up but wasn't sure wear to start. Was going to start degreasing them but thought maybe not lol
No harm degreasing (although I wouldn't be immersing them in degreaser as it will was oil out for the bearings, and be very difficult to completely remove...)
inspect for bugs or wasp nests or debris, don't spin turbines until you've oiled it up - fill oil cavity with oil, allow to stand then drain excess, lightly rotate turbine/compressor and feel for any rough spots or the blades catching on anything.
