Ahhhh valve springs, worth your time having a look around...
You need seat pressure and pressure over the nose from cam grinder first.
Im about to buy double valve springs for my 2t head and im wondering what springs to use, BRDRacing say that you should contact them with your head and cam setup to get the right spring. The cam setup that i wanna go for is a nice lumpy street cam, i need a lumpy idle to go along with the gilmer belt noise, now I read on an old thread that this cam gives good power throughout the rev range and recommended by thetoyman75, i think its a 272 grind??
Grind No...Advertised Duration....Duration.................Cam Lift

.................IN.........EX.............IN..... ........EX.........IN........EX
401A.........293°......293°..........242°......... .242°......372².....372²
the head will have 1mm oversize valves, porting, high comp pistons and bored out to either 88 or 89mm, any alot more work, it will have 45 or 48mm webers aswell.
Can i just buy the ones from sleekaspares or do i need them made to suit my setup?
Cheers,
Callum
