Toyota Appreciation day @ Zen Garage - Saturday 20th October

Zen Garage have approached Toymods Car Club to hold a Toyota appreciation day. This a casual day to focus on a few of the more interesting Toyotas in the Toymods club stable whilst kicking back in Zen Garage's flash new shop and meeting up with the wider car community. There will be a BBQ, raffle and give-aways, plus a Forza Motorsport competition held on their racing simulator!

Shop opens at 12pm.

BBQ from 12:30. $4 for a Sausage Sandwich and can of drink.


Prizes Zen Garage have put together:
$50 store voucher for fastest lap time around tsukuba in our control car.

Raffle with all proceeds going to toymods $2 per ticket. (drawn at 3.30)
1st prize $50 store voucher
And 4 x Zen garage T-shirt and Zen carabina packs.



So if you’re up for socializing with a bunch of car enthusiasts, or just interested in Toyotas from mild to wild, make sure you pop in for a Sausage and come say hello! The shop will be open too, so if you’re after anything, purchases can be made on the day.

And all Toymods members that put their name down in this thread as coming will receive a free lunch ticket on the day. No name listed, your still welcome but you'll be buying your lunch.

Guys, just to clarify things a little, Zen Garage is a workshop and as such can only accommodate half a dozen cars. They have asked us to select a few of the more interesting or rare cars that are owned by toymods members to showcase the club and the marque. Whilst there will be many cool cars turning up for the event, there will only be a few "select" toyotas in the garage on show.

It's more of a chill out, chat and appreciate type day. But I have the feeling that parking outside will be every bit a interesting as the few toyos in the garage.

I'm really looking forward to this. It's a new type of event for us and gives us an opportunity to showcase the club to the wider car community

So far we have proposed the four board members cars that Zen Garage used on the poster in the first post. We were going to talk to a couple of other members at Toyotafest about it. It certainly isn't finalised yet though. Basically we want cars that are indicative of Toymods with a bit of variety. A slammed RS41 would make a great addition Greg, you free on the day?
