firstly, usually if you are buying alot of items from the 1 shop usually you will get a better price..
1- gasket set (all the torque settings you need will usually come with this, at minimum the head specs will)
2- piston, rings and pins
3- main bearings
4- big end bearings
5- new cylinder head bolts
6- thrust bearings for the crankshaft
7- plastiguage (you will need this to double check bearing clearences, its very cheap, like $20)
last time i rebuild a 4age i tensioned to the following
1- head studs were ARP brand, so they were 80ft pound i think, standard replacement will be alot lower than this
2- mains 60nm
3- big ends 40nm
4- check the big end and main bearing clearences are within 1.5 and 2thou with the plastiguage
5- ring gap should be around the 16 to 18thou, but these should be ok straight out of the box
6- end float of the crankshaft should be around 4thou, checked with feeler gauge
any other information, id recommend buying a workshop manual, for that engine they should be easily available and very cheap, thanks
