I'm re plumbing a braking system using a 1993 Camry V6 non ABS proportioning valve.
I have two of these are from cars with rear disc brakes, one from a 1993 sedan ,(the grey one, stamped 45 39)
The blue one is from a '93 wagon also non ABS but had an additional weight sensing proportioning valve at the rear, (stamped 45 45)
(I will not be using a weight sensing proportional valve)
Apart from colour coding, obviously different,I dont know these things, but suspect numbers indicate brake bias/ pressure split.
Anyone confirm? Anyone used camry proportioning valves in a bigger brake conversion?
Anybody with a parts book that indicates how many different types are available?
Rebraking car, 4 spot Lexus on front , 4 spot Porsche 968 rear, car originally had a diagonal split system that was past it's use by date, converting to front/rear system,
S4 Supra booster and M/S,car was pre ABS and want to keep it that way.
Don't want to get into adjustable proportioning valves, as need to get car engineered and adjustable is a big no no
