Default urgent!! tailshaft trouble for my manual conversion

    Hi guys
I'm almost done with my 6mge/w58 manual conversion in my ms123 crown and the stock Tailshaft is too short (by about 60mm). Does anyone here know a longer front shaft to use without getting a custom front shaft made? I'm obviously a budget and can't exactly afford a custom shaft . the front shaft (from end of gearbox output yoke to end flange after the center bearing) is 640mm. so i need a shaft that is approx 690-700mm from end to end.
Any help would be hugely appreciated!
    Cheers

sorry, i dont have any info on the front shafts. but have you called up a drive shaft place just to ask about a front half ? it might not even be that expensive.

take the whole shaft off and see if it needs new uni's. it might need to be rebuilt anyway.
i dont have a funny or cool signature.

A new front shaft will set you back about $200 incl balancing.

The only car I know that may be of assistance is an SA63 Celica, but they are fairly rare.

yep you can just get a section of shaft extended,

i got stung when i got my soarer tail shaft extended, was $600 including new uni's. but its the only place close by other then sydney that could do the work
As they say in the book, assembly is the reverse of dismantling, but slower cos you forgot where all the bits are

Manual SA63 is around 720mm I think, from memory...

It will have the right yoke, but I'm not sure on the center bearing flange
