We look forward to seeing you guys there. Thanks for organising it.
Date:27th October 2012
Start time: Leaving 7:30am sharp - Early Start!
Location: Meetup - Hume Service Station
Organiser: Jezza
Folks last years Temora 1000 event was great fun to spectate at not to mention get the chance to cheer on some of our own local competitors that I figured we could do a cruise up to check out the new Snowy Mountains 1000.
The event is being held at the Cooma Airport on the Kosciusko road in between Cooma and Berridale, Google maps puts it at 125min's away from our start point so we should get there before the action starts.
Hopefully the snow traffic will have disappeared and we should get a nice run up and back.
I suggest bringing camera's with big lenses as we will no doubt be back from the action a bit however there will be heaps of chances to get up close with the cars in the show and shine.
The organisers have onsite food and beverage sellers so no need to pack a picnic lunch just bring some spare change.
For those of you who aren't restless walkers I would suggest bringing along a camp chair as well just in case seating is at a premium.
Things to bring - CB Radio, Driving Snacks & drinks, very full tanks of Fuel.
Note! - Don't forget even if your wonderful Yota is off the road feel free to come along in anything we won't judge you .
Cheers

Hold the phone....... lockdown for showcars from 8:30am to 5pm? Don't think i'm gonna be able to do that given the circumstances...... I'm unlikely to stay much past lunchtime.
Also, from the Shannons confirmation email, it appears there is an entry fee for spectators? Farken stingy carnts..... for a straightline event out in the sticks!
/end of rant. LOL

ello ello? Entry fee ?
Where was that posted ?
Also yeah I can understand them not wanting to have people moving cars about in the show and shine but that's a long time to have your car unavailable.
Can somebody give me some more info on this entry fee though ? I need to advise people going as I thought it was free spectator entry like Temora.
