hey all, ive got a question for the sparky in you, a few months ago my parker lights stopped working, a few weeks later, my high beams and dome light, and now my brake lights, this has me stumped has anyone experienced this before?

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tanks of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

nostalgia is not what it used to be:
i checked all the fuses, though i was told the old glass ones can give up without actually blowing, will check earths but i cleaned them a few weeks ago, thanks ian

99% of electrical problems is within the grounds.
I had a problem with my park lights and then my high beams were getting triggered by indicating left/right - both caused by grounds strangely.
Check behind the dash, under the taillights, and the main engine/negative battery grounds and replace with new wire and connections where possible on the original grounds
