AE82 nerds.. what goes where? - wires and breather-

hey guys, finally putting a motor back in my AE82 csx sedan after 1+ years of it being apart.
got most of it back together, theres just a couple of things im struggling to find a place for, and was hoping someone might be able to help me?

first off: theres a sensor/switch on the auto gearbox, blue plug with 2 pins in it. cant find a plug like that anywhere in my looms, and i think it may never have been connected, as the car was originally manual (converted to auto before i bought it) and as long as me and the owner before me have had the car, the auto has never shifted properly.



anyone know what it does, and what signal is supposed to go to it/ be sent back?

2nd: theres a breather in the auto dipstick, which i have no idea where the end is supposed to go?



and lastly: theres a small loom with single white plug, which is located just near the battery. it comes out of the main loom at the same place as the thermo switch, but obviously isnt for it.



anyone know what this is supposed to connect to?

i think thats it for now. ill try and get to the wreckers next weekend and check some other cars for clues. however if anyone can help here it would be much appreciated!

Got the same car and the same trans set up, AE82 4age with auto gearbox, and i got the same stuff, exept for the last pic, i dont have that plug, i got one like that but near the alternator and i realy dont know what its for :S

thanks for the reply. i worked mine out eventually.

the blue plug is the overdrive switch. mine has an AE92 auto in it i think, as i havent seen an ae82 with overdrive yet. mine was originally manual then converted.

the white single pin plug isnt used im fairly sure. might be for manuals only or something?

and the breather just plugs into a redundant threaded hole on the g/box.

what colour wire is on the plug? ill have a look at mine and see if it matches.

ooooh, lol then mines the same as yours, got overdrive too hehee thats nice, now i would love a manual trans hehe, need money but i will

the wire i got its like blue color, and the near one connected to the thermo near the alternator its white (well considering theyre dirty xD)
