different due to indicators im 90% sure ...
hi all
i got a mate wrecking a ra60 and i can get parts for close to nothing and i was wonding if ra60's share the same front fenders/front 1/4s as the ra65' or sa63's i know it's a stubid question but worth asking as i might have more shannigans for this rona of mine![]()
thanks
Sam
different due to indicators im 90% sure ...
well that put the mocas on that idea
damm it i want a celona!!!!
thanks anyways
Actually, the panels are the same.
Indicators/bonnet/headlights/bumper/airdam differer between the front end of the RA60 & SA63/RA65, but the other panel work does not.
oh teh goodness WooT!!!!! thanks mate rep for u's
i might have my celona after allwill have pics soon if it works

Might be hard to mate to the body, I assume the metalwork underneath is different. Supras & Soarer combinations (for example) normally need custom guards. I have often wondered if a 2-door xA6x Carina front end would bolt on to the xA6x Celica. I guess you never know 'till you try...
Would something like a jap-spec Corona front end (if it is different, I'm fairly sure the 2-doors at least were), if it fits, go some whay towards what you are after? I know it's not exactly what you want, but it would be different...
yeah i've thorght about the carnia front end it would look nice kinda like the sil80 but toyota wise
from what i've seen my mate owns a ra65 the frad support is the same or close enough they share the same amount and positon of bolt/mounting holes it the top of the guard i would need to tec screw or drill/bolt,nut job the ra65 light mechanisem in and front bumber well that carnt be that hard
i think from this dogey photos the jap spec 2 door coronas share the same gaurds as the Xa6X celicas
so fingers crossed it'll work if not i can pass the parts on to my mate
anyway would you happen to have the grill of the jap spec corona it tickels my fances for some reason
the corona and celica guards are different dude, looking at those photos anyway....where the indicator is, the celica has a curve/ angle but the corona is straight....follow me?
blake
I agree. From the indicator back, they do look very similar though.
yeh missed that indicator part nice find
i did a small photoshop pic meh i dont no should look better in the flesh

This is an AT141 Corona with TA63 Carina panels fitted on the front. Apparently it was a straight bolt on.
And a link to the auction for it.

You would of thought wrong then, don't think we got any 4AC's new and I've never seen one in an import so must be pretty rare over here. Basically if its A series RWD it will be 3A or 4A-GE.Originally Posted by Robbos_Toyotas
