TA22 Bonnet Struts

Hey guys! I was wondering if anyone has installed those pneumatic struts on the bonnet of a 1st gen celica..? I took a look today if it would work but wasn't sure due to the fact the bonnet opens the opposite way than usual. Anyone got pics or advice on how rto go about it..?

I looked at doing the same thing with my TA22, while in progress of respraying.
One word of caution I noticed, the bonnet latch does not have a secondary catch. In other words if bonnet opens, by accident while driving,there may not be enough wind force to stop bonnet opening in front of you.
