Im sure if you read this thread you would know the answer..
But in short yes they do fit but require some slight mods to fit.

but but but, the story goes its hard to get a good clamp setup with the biggest clutch, and the other one is better to modify....apparently

Dont know where you herd that?
When i went from the ge to the GZE fly / clutch setup there was a big difference. More surface area will give you a better bite.
The clamping force is to do with the weight of the pressure plate..... So if you say both the GE and the GZE both have a 1 tone pressure plate then the surface area of the GZE clutch plate will give a better bite.

is yours a standard clutch/pressure plate?
it was someone saying what they had heard from a good clutch shop, they said the pressure plate design on the big flywheel is awkward to get heavy clampage into.
only heresay though.

i also got told this by my clutch place. Only if you wanted to get the standard pressure plate modified to a higher clamping force, its better to use the 4age one, not the gze one.
Ahh......... i see what you are on about... I too was told about that..... (The GZE pressure plate being hard to get more force out of). When i was looking into my clutch.
The bloke from xtreme said the factory pressure plate a pain in the ass to pull apart too....
Xtreme do make a pressure plate for the GZE from scratch though and it solves the issues of trying to up-rate the std one.
love ke 70 : No agument mate...... just wasnt sure what you were talking about.....Now im on the ball
P.S nothin wrong with an argument its where some of the best ideas come from![]()

just thought id throw it out there anyway, for people thinking big surface area = the win. there is a little more too it.
but as you say there is a good plate to work with the big clutch, that is spiffy![]()

So what type of clutch is everyone using?
I currently have the 215mm 4AGE flywheel and the 230mm 4AGZE flywheel and am deciding on which one to use. I will be using this on a 4AGTE that I am aiming for 150kw at the wheels. Getting the niteparts bellhousing so they should both fit.
I have done some ringing around and have gotten the following prices.
Exedy
215mm Organic HD Kit $370 (part number TYK-6932HD)
230mm Organic HD Kit $465 (part number TYK-7532HD) - No warantee on this at all which doesn't inspire confidence in their product
Xtreme
215mm Cushioned Ceramic Kit $650 (part number KTY22006DCBHD)
230mm Organic HD $569 (part number KTY23017HD)
230mm Cushioned Ceramic Kit $883 (part number KTY23017DCBHD)
I'm not really keen to run a puck type clutch as this will be a daily and I sometimes have to contend with stop start peak hour traffic. Leaning towards a cushioned ceramic but as I've only ever driven organic HD clutches I am hesitant on how drivable/livable a cushioned ceramic will be.
So in summary what are you running and how happy are you with it?
These are the people that I have received payment from so far;
Dongaz - received
stidnam - received
HiroShiFumi - received
ae86.jens - received
mr2gze - pending
I will keep this list updated as I receive payments from others.
