    Default W58 Hydraulic Throwout bearing

I'm looking for some advice on what types of hydraulic clutch throwout bearings will fit a W58 5 speed gearbox adapted to a 1UZFE. I have a part number for the howe bearing but am wondering what other bearings can be used. I've heard that quartermaster also make a part but can't seem to find a part number. Also a place where they can be purchased here in Aus. Thanks

JustCallMeOrlando would be one person to speak to? his UZA80 uses a T56 gearbox but he went the hydraulic throwout bearing.

    Otherwise, try Ed's V-8 site: http://www.v-eight.com/

Ed should have drawing that you can buy off him...
    Uses a Tilton1600 I believe...

Or shouldn't be too hard to sort out similar yourself

I have a feeling there is also a cheaper hydraulic throwout that others have used, JCMO springs to mind as someone who has used it

Yep I'm pretty sure that was the 'cheaper' one I was thinking of!

Yup, I've had a Howe (from summit) for 20,000 km or so. Beware that you will need to get a larger master cylinder (5/8 is not enough!).

Also, don't buy the Howe line kit! It's shit.

Be aware that by the time you get the bearing, lines, larger master etc, it will cost you as much as a conversion bellhousing, and takes some work to get right. If I had my time again, I'd buy a bellhousing and be done with it.

I'm using a different Howe unit, although has the same part number 82870?
Its says is designed to be used with 3/4" master cylinder.

Looks like I have the exact same adapter as manny!
