Gotta renew my CAMs licence, but assuming I stop being lazy and do that, I'll be there.

There are noise restrictions this time, so everyone everyone has to be careful (apparently there were some issues last time, and if it happens again then there might not be another motorkhana )

The local Gov and it's employees do not want any motor sport at this venue. You can expect your entry fees to be a lot higher in the next 12 to 18 months. ( like more than it costs to do a hill climb ). Plus skid pan days etc etc are going to be too expensive to run for the company that does it and they will have to find some where else or give up doing them. Driver safety lessons will be ok , but mention the words --- competition ,skids and motor sports --- and well they get very tense. You can expect a noise check and I would make sure that the rego is up to date. You never know who you may bump into on the way out there.

We have already lost a venue to do Khanacross and it all seems to have been made to hard for the clubs to find another venue.

All this shits me !!!!!!!! ( You may have picked up that already ) Car clubs should be given every assistance to organize grass roots motor sports events, so the car enthusiast can get their regular fix and not have to take it to the streets. But our local gov does not give a flying F..k , because we do not hold the numbers as a voting group for any forth coming election , and that's all that matters to then. Whether they be Labor , Liberal or Greens.

Well write me a letter some time and I will tell you what I really think , and I won't hold back this time , but I may require a glass of warm milk with a wee drama of medical Brandy at the time !!!!!!!!!!!
