oops!
Anyway - there are only 2 or 3 admins with a rep power of 10.... regular moderators have the same rep power as anyone else, eg me.
Reputation CAN go negative from memory... and there will more than likely be a user group set up for people who go far enough backwards in their reputation points.... Wookie is the likely group
If you have received negative rep that you feel was unwarranted, and you have a VALID reason for it being unwarranted - email the board and we'll have a look at the post in question and see if you were hard done by. Of course if some unfavourable person is out there giving negative rep to people for whatever reason they feel like, and they are brought to our attention.... their rep points will no doubt be modified accordingly.
Yes giving rep in the classifieds section is ok - this furthers the filtering for dodgy dealers and the like, and gives a sort of pseudo-incentive to sellers to help the community rather than themselves.
That said - giving someone negative rep cos you thought there price was too high will probably result in your rep being reduced by 10 points!
I hope that covers it all![]()

I just got bagged out and lost rep due to posting some incorrect terms, Now I know they were incorrect but my tired brain didnt type right at the time..
This is great, people can be smartasses, affect your rep and you cant do shit.
Old toymods forums> hey dood thats wrong.. oh shit yeh sorry, "edits post"
New Forum> You are not adhearing to our strict and clearly outlined way of posting. Your Fired.
**runs away. (will probably lose rep for posting this) but BRING IT ON NAZI BIATCHES!!!!
I totally stopped posting on another popular forum due to the way everyone treated newcomers (I just sat back and watched as a longtime member). Such an elitest bunch of bullshit. And here I am a longtime member now being affected by members trying to adhere to some new kind of black and white, clearcut utopian society
I understand the aim of having a place with no bad info. But its how that goal will be aquired that worries me.

Actually I remove previous comments.
I just realised that when your rep changes your comment on the little green button under ur name changes and at rep 9 it is "<username> is on a slipperly slope" as appose to 10's "<username> is niether here nor there"
slipperly slope doriftoooooo

Another point which may just be me being blind..... when you get reputation and people leave a comment, how do you read the comment? and is there any way to look back on who we have given rep to?
Can give you a better reason this whole system is bs.Originally Posted by bathurst-91

No, you lost rep for giving feedback on a topic that had already been answered ad nauseum.

Go into your user CP section, scroll down underneath all your newly subscribes threads there is a latest reputation recieved section. This shows who left the rep whether it was postive or negative and the feedback they left (assuming they actually left someOriginally Posted by Draven

and as for rep, is there a way to see all of it? or can you just see the most recent additions?

Oh, and a 40 rep milestone is pretty high, how about 20 or sumthin?? 40 would be fine if everyone left rep as they should, but they just dont.
