    Default Longchamps on a ta22

    Hi Guys,

    15" Longchamps to suit a ta22 4x114.3

I was wondering if anyone knew what offset with these wheels would fit on the ta22? There have been no mods to the underside of the car.

also if anyone does happen to have a set of 15" longchamps to suit that they want to sell a pm would be great

    cheers

    Kolb

Rim width? Stock TA rims are 4.5" with a 35P offset. 7" rims with an offset of between about 2P and 10P will fit '73 to '75 TA's - not so sure with the early flat-light - I think they are a bit less forgiving. I've not seen anything much more than a 7" rim fitted to a TA without suspension mods or body work being done. I've got a set of 14x6" 9P Jelly Beans that fit pretty comfortably.

Cheers for reply. That helps. good to know the standard.
I don't mind tapping up the lip of the guard but not too keen on flaring.
so 7" 10P is probably the widest/deepest combo dish that will go on a standard.

i got 8" +20 all round on my 22 and its standard, 195's on the front and 225's on the back, if your gonna go down the flush look i suggest you get an adj panhard rod if its gonna be lowered in the back, i ruined 1 tyre from scrubbing in about 3 months

Any issues at the front? I had a set of 17P 7" tri-spoke rims, and these would only fit the front with a 7mm spacer (making them effectly a 10P offset) - rubbed at full lock (they were fine on the rear tho). Trying to do the maths in my head - your 20P 8" rims would probably be around 9mm further in than my 17P 7" ones where - sounds like it would be pretty tight.
