The JDM one wraps around the strut tower a bit.
I just moved the ADM one to the front behind the headlamp but you could mount one virtually anywhere.

Hello, it's been a long time since i've been here.
I need your help, i have a AE86 conversion project which starts, runs, and rips burnouts in my paddock. it's almost ready for rego but i cannot figure out what to do with the washer bottle. as i understand this is a requirement for rego, and also a requirement for me to feel good about having finished the conversion so i have to figure it out but it's a tough one.
Do any of yout guys who have done the conversion or been around AE86 conversions before know where i can mount it? i'm not stuck with this bottle, i can go with the bottle out of another car it just has to mount somewhere.
I hear the JDM model has it mounted behind the passenger side strutt tower but i can't really see it fitting there with the wiper motor.
I'll be happy to put some pics of my bay up if that helps.
Any Sprinter owners please help.
Cheers guys.

from what i understand the JDM one is rare as shit and in the order of $200
The problem is the ADM one is just so big and i don't really have anywhere it will fit, it's not like my NA engine bay is that crowded but it definitely doesn't have room to put that monster in there haha
Where it was originally is where my air box is so i can't put it there.
I've been looking for pics of other sprinter conversions but no luck
Not that it's probably any easier to get, but for my first 4age into ae86 (back in 1995) i used the washer bottle from a mazda capella, i used the bracket that it comes with and mounted it in front of the drivers side strut tower, these bottles are very small, and a hole from the radiator overflow/washer bottle combo of the adm ae86 has a very conveniently located captive nut to mount it, I can't remember what i did for the overflow however.
matty.
supercheap and autobarn sell generic ones that you pretty much mount anywhere.. don't quote me on this, but i do not beleive there is any requirement to have a minimum volume.. they come in all shapes and sizes..
