hi there
i have a blacktop 20v 6speed in an ae82 but cant find reverse please help!!
i can find all 6 forward but no back :-(

What linkages did u use

the standard gear selector in the AE82 might not allow enough movement past 1st/2nd position. you might have to modify it. Have you tried moving the cables inside when disconnected from the selector to see if you can get reverse that way? if you can it means you have issues with the selector.

Quite often the selector mech on the box gets bent during transit (if bought outside a halfcut)... and don't give enough reach to select reverse.

When i did mine i used the ae111 shifter, there is a guide on http://forum.twincam.org.au/topic/21...e92-ae101-etc/ how to make it fit...

i got it in a front cut and i only had the cables no shifter.

I have looked and tried the mod but no luck. Anyone know where I can find a ae111 shifter box??
