Default help to ID purpose of each loom plug for conversion wiring

    Hey guys

JZX90 1JZGTE Auto loom. Have connected the screamingly obvious items, now have some spare plugs here and there.

Can anyone pls help identify each of these? Thanks!

Hey, here are the ones I can help you with. I am basing it off a JZX81 so there might be slight differences. I was able to see some of the earlier pics before you edited it so there is some reference to them. Though can you tell us what car have you put the engine in and how did you get it, as a halfcut or just the engine/loom separate?

1 - Green is the power steering pump input (so will come from the fluid reservior which would have been mounted on the strut tower)
Blue goes to the traction control throttle (big black circle thing right above where you are holding the plug)
Yellow - i cant really tell from my reference pics so will check later tonight on the car

2 - the vac hose goes two ways. there is a T that goes to the otherside of the manifold and connect to the barb just above the MAP sensor point (should be just under the throttle cable bracket), the other part which you have highlighted should go to the top of charcoal cannister (small open port facing up in the bottom of pic 4).

3 & 4 - i dont really have anything like that on my loom so cant say

5 - Green should go to the heater
Red - there seems to be a pipe missing from your engine. Are you still running the stock twin turbos? The pipe i am referring to acts as various returns to the water pump. So looking back from the pump, it runs alongside the block and has feeds from the rear turbo water cooling and from the cabin heater. Then it wraps around the back to feed the oil cooler, but there is a T at the back of the block where the red hose connects to.

8 - isnt really clear, it sort of looks like the TRC or ISCV plugs but where you are holding it up doesnt show where it is on the engine very well

9 - these are generally the body loom connections for the engine loom, mine are quite different so cant tell where they all go.

Can help you with correct wiring diagram. Once you get it, use multimeter to determine power supply wires, and you're done. Note that you don't need everything you have on the connectors shown.
