2s-c head shave how much ???

doing head gasket on my corona atm and i can machine the head at uni so the question is how much can i take off ??? not a big fan of the 2s-c but it just feels pointless putting the head back on when its free haha any help will be appreciated cheers Glen

As little as possible I assume you are doing this to up the compression ratio a bit? In that case sorry have no experience with them. I would leave a good safety margin though as you don't want to go all out and then need to skim the head again and be unable to.

typically about 5 to 8thou comes off a head when its shaved

as much as possible!!! i cut 0.080" off my 7m head, right down to the valve seats*

gave me 11.5:1 on stock bottom end, around 12 with the new one.
