Anyone fitted a old T-50 extension housing to a newer T-50?

Having a look at where to put the gearbox in the Mallock and I reckon if I can fit the old forward gearstick position extension housing (TA-22 Celica) to the AE-86 type T-50 that will have the gearstick in the right position.
Anyone tried it? I reckon you'd need the older selector rods as well to make it work.

if you talking about the bellhousing, yes it is posible but the old bellhousing need to be machined wider on the front bearing slot!

Thanks - I asked on PF and got the same answer so it seems like an easy conversion. I'll have to do it twice as the T-50 in the Starlet (when I get to it ...) needs the same treatment to make the gearstick come out the original hole in the gearbox tunnel.
