    Default Self serve wrecker thread

I thought it would be good for people to know when something worthwhile turns up at the pickie wreckers.

At the moment at Jolly Rodgers there's a complete 1UZ engine, also there's a car with a near complete 1JZGTE and a few 1GG engines in soarers

Hey Sam....is that Dandenong or Ringwood Jollys?

Stacks of vintage Toyotas at Centre Road at the moment - Today I spotted MS47, MS85, MX32, RT40, KE26 and a few KE55's (including a coupe). Also had the regular assortment of MA70's, JZZ30's, JZZ31's and a UZZ31.

BTW, isn't this the third of this kind of thread in this section? lol

That old Crown wagon is pretty much all there and in reasonable nick......shame to see it go to the crusher.......also in the glovebox is a hand written note that says "If you want to know more about this car ring Malcolm" and then a phone number.....would be interesting to see what he has to say about the old girl....please someone rescue her

The MS47 is no longer there

I called Don like the note suggested. It had been in his shed for 25 years as a project that he never got to. Other than he rebuilt the engine bottom end!

I found the keys buried under the seat tonight, I am hoping it won't take too much to resurrect her to her former glory.

If any one comes across a Crown steering wheel I would be eternally grateful, I think that is going to be the hardest part to put back on it. Needs to be one of the ones that has the indicators on the horn ring.

Centre Rd has a pretty much complete 1UZ and an AE93 with complete 4AGE less dizzy. Not much else to report otherwise. Not enough '22's for my liking
