Are those the twin AU fans? They cover perfectly...
Awesome guide, +rep.
Ive never done bushes would be cool if you posted photos about what greasing the bush is all about.
A few people have asked how to do this lately. It's really not hard! I'm pretty sure the original credit goes to Takai, it's documented in his build thread at least.
Stuff you'll need:
New S13 radiator.
Lower bracket (make your own, or I can make you one if you're lazy)
4x M8x20 socket head cap screws
2x Nissan lower radiator mount rubber, PN 21508-10V00
Thermo fans (EF fans work well)
New radiator hoses (go to your local shop and mix and match!)
Flat bar to make top bracket.
Step one: Get an ASI S13 radiator from Ebay. $200ish, posted to your door. I know of at least 10 of their radiators in use without a failure, plus he's very helpful and good to deal with.
Step two: Remove your standard radiator, hoses etc. Give the engine a flush while you're there.
Step three: Remove the standard lower radiator brackets.
Step four: Install new radiator brackets, bolting them to the factory bolting points using M8x20 cap screws as shown
Step 5: Install new radiator. ****install the rubber bush into the bracket, then grease the inner hole on the bush*****
Failure to do above will make it very hard to fit, as the radiator leg will swell the bush and make it very difficult to get it in the bracket.
*yes, I know...*
Install radiator
After this, make some simple straps for the top to attach the top mounts to the factory radiator support panel, find some fans you like, attach the *NEW* hoses you just bought and enjoy your lovely summer-proof cooling system.

Those are EF falcon fans, I found them to fit a bit nicer than AU fans.
The bush greasing is just for those lower mount bushes (PN added to the orginal post, they're just OEM nissan S13 mounts). It's just because if you don't give them a bit of rubber grease they can be a pain to fit.
Better than the Falcon fans are the Subaru Liberty fans. They are a metal housing so can easily be welded together (use two large fans) and are a much lower profile than the Ford fans.
Oh and the other thing to note is that there are two versions of the S13 radiator. One for the CA18 and the other for the SR20. One has opposite side hoses the other same side, cant quite remember which off the top of my head though, but use your noggin when deciding which one to get.

I took note of that from Takai's build, and got 99 WRX twin thermofans (costed $100) which are not metal but are a very small profile and mount up very easily.
I don't have an ASI rad anymore but it was also an SR20DET (turbo) to be exact that suits the A61, not sure of differences on the DE but just thought i'd mention it.
Also this guide suits Z10 Soarers as well! Should adjust the title![]()

Should also suit mx73, although not sure about the height.
Good news on the scooby fans, I don't think the falcon fans would suit JZ without some pain!
IIRC, the CA18 has the lower hose on the passenger side, SR20 on the drivers. Will confirm which is which soon.
