Excellent news haha. You can be my benchmark. You'll have to take the mr2 for a spin. I'm interested in seeing a comparison.

Done 6 sideways laps, retired for coffee
That is definitely true. Fark I had me some epic tankslappers hahaha
Edit;got a vid I my first session for proof. Ridiculously little traction all day lol
sure beats being in the office until 6pm following a week in Perth.... you guys suck![]()
Dodgy start to the day but the afternoon was quite nice.
I didn't do too many laps, had a few random issues.
Pretty much my only piece of video from the day:
Edit: Shane's brother driving not Shane.

R.I.P.
Wasn't Shane, it was his brother. So no shame yet... I may have passed him earlier in the wet... i'll wait for ensuing racing excuses? haha.

I was wondering what happened that you suddenly ended up over at the pit entrance.
I'm going to be very sore tomorrow. Was fighting the car all day.
Don't know whether it was the wrong tyres for the conditions, some suspension issue, or let's face it, the wrong car to start with
Front end pulling from side to side, though the new LSD certainly helped with fording the river at turn 2, and locking the rears on pretty much every entry into the fishhook. Those #%@$%^ drum brakes have got to go, and soon!!!
I think I'm just lucky to have got away unscathed. An early spin backwards into a tyre wall and also a spin at the end of the straight
But discovering I could nail full throttle at the hairpin onto the main straight well before the apex was certainly different. I suspect an over supply of traction compared to the amount of power produced.
I've got a lot of mud to wash out it seems lol
Lol, I don't think you are the only one that needs to do that. Interesting day and lots of fun despite the conditions. Run with Garth was hilarious in the opening laps as the arse end was swinging round on the oil up the hill, wasn't a day to set times so may as well have some fun sideways instead.
If in doubt power out
i got lots of drift practice. it was hilarious. will upload later when i rotate the video from its current upside-down position
