    Come on Rona, you can do better than that.........

    Most likely scenario for the majority of poopra drivers would simply be to leave the car in the garage (where they spend most of their time) at the first hint of precipitation. Even fog is considered "adverse conditions"

    It will be fine - WP gets less rain than Goulburn, forecast is for town. Chance of morning showers means the track might be damp when we start but will be dry by mid to late morning.

    Ok, well checking the actual BOM rather than my phone gives;

    So there might be patchy rain but we're not likely to get much of it. Probably not a day for PBs though. At least it's not going to be subzero overnight; that makes for a slippery first session!

    Yeah fair enough Rona, just figured you'd lurked enough threads you knew the drill - i'm sure i remember you answering punters' questions about how it works in the past.

    i would kinda be happy if it was raining. the S13 is "entertaining" to drive in the wet. whereas the adub.. well if anyone saw my antics in the wet with it that first trackday i did with the turbo (the one where the alternator died) then you would understand why i dont like doing wet trackdays in the adub...

    Vito, why not lend Rona the Sil80 for the drive down and take both cars down for ultimate fun-ness

    That way Rona doesn't burn his track time fee either.

    Fog is dangerous for Supra drivers they might not see the light house and crash into the rocks.

    Phil is copping it today! Phil, i hope you haven't lifted it off it's arse yet and don't until after Friday, i wanna see it in the metal before you do. It'll help with rear traction too, especially in the wet.

    Those staying, the reno'd bunkhouse has a new wood stove, reverse cycle aircon/heater in each apartment and full linen/blankets, but might be worth throwing the pillow and sleeping bag in just in case. I think the heater's are on timer switches so people don't leave them running 24hrs a day so might still end up a little cool around 5am.

    Also, remember the licence, helmet, gopro, laptimer, coin for the awesome bacon and egg rolls and hamburgers, and beers/drinks.

    If you're coming down thursday night, i'm assuming all except the blayney crew will be at the brooks rd meet for the cruise down?

    what am i kidding, you will all be bullshit late anyway, see you there

    and no im not taking (breaking) the adub and the sil80 together. i said i will offer a couple laps (for epic beer), not a free car for the entire day rona - ask brendan or someone else if he wants your spot?
