wouldn't happen to need 215/45/17 would you?
Garth - moneys transferred x 2.
I'm thinking I might stay 2 nights at the pelican for a change - will depend on other social engagements.
Also debating if new rubber needed - hoping for a wet/damp day so I can put that off for another 3 months.

bigger and wider
245/40r18, 265/35r18, or similar
bugger..
I have my old RE-01R's which am probably not going to put on for the road (1 inner edge is a little low)
Any of the wakefield regulars interested in some rubber to burn? (subject to tyre place refusing to install them )

I may be in for Friday night, but it's unknown at this stage. And I won't be at the Ingleburn meet up either. Unless it's delayed to about 10pm or so (which almost seems to happen anyways )
Speaking of rubber, anyone got anything used in R15?
i have a set of teardrops with rubber on them if you just want something to drive on and care not for laptimes.
Nah, I've got about 3 sets of wheels with road legal tyres here already. Don't think I can afford another 2 T1-R's but would like something better than 50% KU31 on the front.
Did you spend all of your budget on the poncams while drunk?
AE71 Corolla 2 door window van - retired / JZA70 Supra - VVTi converted - sold
Nah, just forked out $500 for a Fidenza flywheel and new clutch combo today
I can probably afford a set but I prefer to have more savings.
Bossman signed the anual leave sheet today without a second glance;
Where you going?
Racetrack...
....cool
a set of semislicks would have made you faster than the poncams for the same money. rookie error
Very true, but I cant continue to use them for many years to come
Paid for 2 today. Will not be staying overnight. Have to rewire starter motor and change diff centre. On a plus I have also had my exhaust extended slightly so you boys don't have to whinge about that horrible v8 noise.
I also hear that maybe my $100 bet I may have to pay up. Although when I see that silly car running I will believe it.
Phil
so for my newbie brother, who will be in a bog stock IS300, pre track tips?
I'm going to suggest an alignment with some mild camber, 0 toe, max castor. Fluids service. plus I'll take him through the basics before the drunken masses try to impart 15 years of knowledge in 1 evening (ala 2 track days ago)
Watch mirrors and let faster cars through, find someone with a car of similar speed who has done the track lots and follow them. The session I did this I went from following to passing by the 3rd lap and improved my lap times out of sight.
If in doubt power out
