Vito, i'd hope you could do a sub 1:20 with your eyes shut, steering from the passenger seat When frustrated about my car being stuck in the garage a while back, I dragged my old VS commodore ute out there (V6 auto) for consistent 1:18's.

Will never do it again though, felt remarkably slow, especially down the straight.

haha yeah im just worried it will be frustratingly slow compared to the faildub (when its not on fire). this one is 100% stock apart from the silvertop, whereas the only thing remaining that is stock on the faildub is....... umm... the passenger seat

should hopefully mean nothing breaks then lol. im so excited! havent done a trackday since that fateful one in january

Vito, i say do it on the street tyres - give no fark for times anyway and less grip will be more fun with less power/speed. With added benefit of not hacking the supposed tidy shell you're transferring to??

I'm speaking from experience - one of the most fun days i've ever had there was the first day teh mx5 was there, bone stock on street tyres; still the most sideways (dry) day i've ever done there.

Vilo I have 8 x KU36 with about 30-40% tread if you have a set of rims you wanna throw them on.

yeah nah the car probably has crapass spec brake pads so all the tyres will do is cause the pads to fade/fluid to boil. better to leave everything stock and enjoy the car in its state of slowness as garth says.
