    hey guys and girls I'm in the process of changing the cams and valve shims I've read that a early 90s yamaha bike use the same one

    but I can't find what uses 28mm diameter shims. does anyone know which one it is or if the 1zz shimless buckets are useable. cheers

    Ehh.. why try the Yamaha shims when you can get correct shim from Toyota?
    If you want to go shimless check the Yaris (#NZ-FE) buckets;last 2JZ-GTE head I ported assembled with those.Careful checking before ordering and again when installed.

    the idea behind going for the yamaha shims is not only because the head is designed by yamaha, but yamaha its rumored that they are cheaper then going to toyota. thanks for the suggestion of the shimless, was trying to chase one with the same diameter :-)
