    Default ebay Item number: 4642631357

    Hi there all,

Was just wondering if anyone knew if this would go into my ke20 with a 4agze engine. I asked what sort of gearbox and if it would fit and got this answer...i was surprised that the engine mounts would work as i have the impression i need to get them specially made??

"the gear box is out of an ae71. that all i know. and the engine mounts can be used in a ke20, not sure about the g/box mount tho"

    Here is the link

    Thanks in advance

Hi mate , the g/box x-member will not fit the one in the ke20 needs to be much wider but i just use the original g/box x-member from my ke25 and it fits fine , just needs a bit of gentle persuasion , don't know about the engine mounts though i have a set of ae71 rwd 4age engine mounts when i got my 4age and they where too big and had make up some custom ones .
still not a bad price for all that stuff though

you already have the engine in the car?

if so, then it should bolt up to the engine, but you wont be able to use the gearbox crossmember.

the engine mounts wont work directly and you will need to have some custom ones made.

what gearbox do you have in there at the moment?

Why do people insist on ebay??

It'll end up costing a buttload by the time you get it!

Get down and dirty and head down to your local wreckers for a replacement

I'm sure you will have no probs finding one, i managed to get 2 T50's for free, both at seperate times!

    good luck

    Cheers

Ah that would be fine if we had any decent wreckers here in Crapberra. Pickings are very slim!
