JZA70 ECU Question

Hey guys, I've got a JZA70 and the ECU has some corrosion and the board is stuffed. As A70 ECU's are like hens teeth, I heard that a JZX81 might be compatable. Has anyone heard the theory and do you have one or know of someone who does ?? Cheers. Pete

Hard to answer without wiring diagrams, but I can supply you with one for JZX81.
I believe JZX80 ECU will work as well, but probably with some minor modifications to loom.

JZX81 and JZA70 share the same ECU pinouts so you will be able to swap ECUs, only thing is that JZX81 will always be auto (unless its been converted to manual, though you can run a manual with the auto ECU).

For reference, JZZ30 and JZX90 share the same ECU pinouts but are different to the two above so not interchangeable with those.
