Hellou from Croatia!

My story begins about 6 years ago, when i first saw it, an old toyota. I didnt knew what model, didnt knew nothing about her, but it was a love at first sight. I left a note with my phone number on the windshield and with an offer. The guy answered two weeks later and said NO! In a meanwhile i found out its a CelicaXT hatchback, 1985., RA61 with 80s Zender bodykit. I bored the guy couple of years, and then he said if he is ever to sell a car he will sell it to me. He called me last year, and then she was finally mine all mine. Just to let you know, she is the only one in Croatia,( found out there was a coupe in Zagreb, and a 1.6ST hatch in Split) and thats the main problem. She is all stripped out now, waiting for parts, when i find them and they start coming i'll start a thread if anyone will be interested in my project.

Welcome great to see some international interest . Good luck with your project. I was in Croatia briefly 20 years ago now , Remember going for a swim there in the Ocean and floating due to the high salt levels? And the Topless beauties sunbaking!

Welcome. I have many school friends who are of Croatian background, but live in Australia Sydney.

Suprising to hear only one Toyota Celica of the 1981-1985 body style in your country! Must be very hard to get the parts... Why not recondition the parts you already have from it? Post up pictures and information if you can.
