    Default Engineering in NSW

Righto, it seems everyone is confused as all fuck as to whats required to engineer a car in this day and age. A lot of people seem to think its either impossible or its going to cost a million bucks etc
Anyway, this week I'm intending to drop by a few of the engineers in my area and see what the deal is to engineer a MX83/1JZ/R154/coils.

    First stop:
    G-Force Automotive Narellan
"Nothing has changed with the way you build your car, if its not safe I wont certify it or test drive it"
    Looking at around $900
    IM240 test needed for engine
    Weighbridge ticket needed
    R33 brakes "ok"
Car needs to be solid, no dodgy shit, he wont put his name to anything thats not done properly.

Anyone else with known feedback from a currently listed RMS engineer would be appreciated.

Not yet but hoping to have some feedback for you in a few weeks, albeit near the ACT.
Contact so far with AKZ engineering seems pretty straight forward.
It's only a 1ggte swap so nothing outlandish.
    So far
Wants vented brake upgrade and has given the nod to rx7 items
Have to fit all the fuel emissions items like charcoal canister, remove pod filter, remove fuel cell, fix engine mounts, plate/weld hole in transmission.
Isn't asking for emissions test as long as I can convince him all the pollution gear is present (nice to see some logic prevail).
Might be helping that my mechanic who is doing most of the work knows him through his own projects so some of the questions about quality of work are t being raised.
I'm expecting all my machanicals to be finished in a week or so and will have an inspection then and update accordingly.
