Hi All,
I am currently in the process of concealing my '73 LT TA22 wiring harness in the engine bay and just needed some clarification from someone in the know.
I have identified the following connector with what appears to be a loop plug which is used for the indicators and it appears to have some "extras".
The Green-Yellow wires go to the driver's side indicators and the Green-Black wires go to the passenger's side indicators (both have been cut off in the photo you see below).
However the centre section of this plug has Green-Red and Green-Blue wires which are not used as no loop exists on the terminating plug for this pair.
Also in the photo below you can see a smaller plug with Green-Blue wires connected to a smaller plug.
In the photo below you can see a similar connector with Green-Orange wiring. I believe all this stuff is redundant in my LT however I would like some feedback to:
A) Confirm that I'm not missing something here and that these wires are in fact redundant in the Australian/LT model as I have had the front end / engine bay apart for so long I can't remember what is what.
B) Out of interest does anyone have any photos or data to show what these "extra" wires are used for?
Thanks for your help.
