Cruise to the Toyota Nationals - SYD

Just so this doesnt get lost in the official Nats thread, posting it here.

Anyone in Sydney (or anyone who can make it to the rendezvous point on time really) who is making the journey on Friday, there are now 3 of us interested in meeting up on Friday morning to make the trip together. In years past a highlight for me (and many others it seems) was the 5 hour cruise to the Matilda, convoy style. Over the last couple of years it seems the tradition has died off so this year I'm taking it back



We're planning on meeting in the Harvey Norman/Domayne carpark in Penrith at 8.45am for a 9.15 departure on Friday 6th April. All welcome, map of the departure location below.

We'll take the tried and true route up to Bathurst, turning off at Orange and heading to Dubbo from there (taking in some ambience at some fine local fast food joints and petrol stations along the way).

If you are interested in joining the convoy please reply to the thread. I'll keep an updated list of those we'll be expecting under this post

Central coasters can meet up with the Newie crew at Hexham maccas or Greenhills maccas (its next on the highway) and convoy out with us if you like.

I'm keen to be in. Just remember I'm towing up my car, so the progress may be a little slower once we get over the range.
And leave me somewhere to park at the meeting spot.

I won't be firing a long so if the others head off we can catch up at the next meet point. Sits on 3500rpm at around 110-120km/h
