good to see your celica in action i was most impressed.
im not sure how benificial an intercooler would be for an na 18rc but i wont let that stop you.
Hi,
Yeah the Stout startet at 20kw, went down to about 18kw and then roared up to 26kw.
I got the intercooler.... just trying to see how I can fit it to Ronnie. I reckon it will add a few extra ponies to its mighty NA 18R-C
Got 39 entries, so was a good, but long day. Congrats to the winners and thanks to all those that attended. And also a big thank you to those that donated the prizes.

Thanks to SAS, the Sponsors and everyone who attended to make this the best Dyno day for quite a while.
I am sure Dav will have an official wind up of the day posted soon with the results and probably much better pics. I snapped a few with the dodgy old Phone Camera which can be seen here:

Bummed I couldn't make it, was contingent on being able to sort out the ride-height issue for the Soarer on the Saturday, plus the wheel misalignment on the rear doesn't give us the greatest confidence driving down the freeway and back....Shame too because we really wanted to see what a difference the dumps and BFI made

Hi,
But we never get many cars at that time. Maybe because it's still holiday time or the weather is too warm. In any event, the cooler weather in late April was good for the cars and we got a very good turn out. So, maybe it will be held annually in April from now on. It's somethign the Board will need to discuss.

Yeah winter is better. Ive never felt good about senseless dyno thrashing in the summer heat. I was in the habbit of renewing my membership each time the winter dyno day was on, hence why I havemt been a financial member for years.
Bring them back and I know a few old members will return with continuous club membership.

I do remember when there were the summer and winter dyno days and yes the summer one did get fewer entrants, but I think the advantage of having a major event around the same time as membership renewal helped. Personally I don't mind either way, obviously winter dynos are generally a little better for power and much more comfortable to stand around watching rather than sweltering in the heat or hiding in the shade (assuming it doesn't rain). So April would be a good compromise in my books, although it does end up being around Easter then so always making sure it is after Nationals (that way people won't still be putting their cars together and are more likely to come) would be a good idea.

Hey guys,
Miles here, I was the one with the camera stuck round my head all day.
It was great to meet a bunch of you guys for the first time, some beautiful cars as well i must say.
I have uploaded a few photos for you guys to have a squiz at, I hope you enjoy them, I shoot in both "Standard" and HDR so some shots are lot more "Colourful" so to speak than what the eye can capture
Well enough chatting, lets get to the pics. ( they are only in small res format upload limit reached sadly).
Enjoy !
(It appears i can only do 10 at a time) , Ill throw 9 up and the link for the rest of them.
