Maybe better to run 230-240rwkw while other things are coming together just to be on the safe side? Thats still plenty for a 180sx!

I'm posting for a friend with a 1jz powered 180sx. I just wanted to clarify the factory 380cc injectrs max power capability. From memory it was around the 250 rwkw mark, is this right? He plans to be running a single turbo setup similat to my own with low boost and a mild tune for the time being while other peices come together.

What sort of ecu? You should be able to check duty cycle and tune it to run a nice 12:1 AFR at whatever boost level reaches around 85% duty cycle.
Well when I went my big single they lasted until about 270 - 280rwhp. The I went some 2JZ 550cc injectors...

I wouldn't go past about 220rwkw as thats when the duty cycle is reaching the end of the safe area. 240 and over and you run the risk of melting holes in your pistons.
im pretty sure one of the SupraWA guys Ben with gunmetal R-type jza70 has ~350rwhp from a T04z and Haltech using factory injectors... running something like 18psi i cant really remember.. but the power figure was around 350 or 355 rwhp..

SICO1J was using factory injectors for ages with 60psi base fuel pressure and making some very good numbers. One of the graphs I saw looked a bit scary AFR wise though. I wouldn’t have pushed them that far.

if u throw in 440cc ones, will the stock computer lean it out to compensate fot the extra % of fuel, or will u need a SAFC or the like
