2TGEU Coil Help

Hey guys I recently picked up a TA22 wit a 2TGEU in it. It's got a pertronix ignitor in the dizzy but the ballast resistor remains in the circuit. So I'm able to remove the resistor and replace witha 12v coil yes? Can someone tell me which 12v coil is compatible..?

Just go to repco, hope to get someone with half a brain behind the counter, and ask for a bosch coil to suit this (hold up sample coil) without a ballast resistor. Try to go to a trade repco if there is one around you. I think you are after a gt40, i think it is the gt40r that you use with the resistor but i could have it arse about. Look at the base of the bosch coil, one says "use with resistor" the other does not.
