Default Need tailshaft conversion 1uz auto (A340?) to hilux diff

    Hi
I have a 1uzV8 and auto in my 34 roadster it has an early hilux diff, the auto has a three point flange on the back which I assume was used in the Celsior with an independant rear end.
I have heard of an alloy flange for a Landcruiser tailshaft which could have the same mounting holes and then I use a slipyoke from a landcruiser in front and the four bolt flange off the Hilux in back, can someone confirm the flange and suggest a supplier in SA?Cheers

i have just had a tailshaft made just like this.
approach a tailshaft maker/supplier and ask them to do it
i used driveline services in acacia ridge brisbane.

Or you could attach an output flange off a Hilux A340H automatic transmission with a suitable oil seal and use Hilux driveshaft parts

Which model/year Hilux has that flange - if it has the same position for the mount it seems the best way for me to go I could use the shifter from one as well . A guide price for both would be nice as I am in uncharted territory here, I have played with SBCs Holden, Desoto and Ford V8s but these 1UZ gems are new to me.

The housing and shaft pictured are from a A340E . A340Hs were in 4Runner autos . NOT SURFS. Forget about the shifter from one although a shifter from a Hilux auto 2wd may work for you.
