AE111 Steering Rack Mount Bushes - can you get uprated (i.e. Polyurethane)?

Just dropped into East Coast suspension & had the car < 1998 AE111 BZ-R > checked over.

He reckoned it was OK but detected some movement in the rack which he thought would account for some of the steering issues I've been having.

He suggested I change the rack mount bushes; if possible, for Polyurethane items. Looking it ToyoDIY, these bushes were used on most / all? Corollas from 1987 AE92 to 2001 AE112R & even some ZZE's to 2004.

Does anyone know if you can get Poly rack mounts for my / these cars?

I also am interested in this, I got two AE101 Levins that could do with new bushes while I've got engines out etc.

Hi Terra,

Superpro cannot / won't do Custom bushes & none of their off-the shelf stuff is suitable; I ended up just ordering / fitting new OEM bushes. . .

Damn. Ah well, genuine it is.

Maybe a silicone mould could be made from an OEM bush and urethane ones cast from it.... Hmmmm.
