From memory the open wheeler pictured was driven by the raining NSW Hillclimb champ and on most runs he drifted it through that corner . I think he did a low 39 sec as his best . Major ... major Kahunnas , the man can realy drive . I only dream about those sort of skills.
Also any of you guys are not running any of the rounds this year , I can highly recommend a tour of duty as a flaggie on the hill . Grab a camera (plus the stuff they give you-- siren,radio , red flag ) and go and do it . It is the best place to watch , plus you can learn a shit load . Lesson 1 --- there is no perfect line to the top corner , some the fastest guys do it all in different ways . On second thought maybe don't go up there you will just end up confussed as all fuck ( like me ).
Also at this point I would like to dispell the rumour that I only do the flaggie job for the free lunch and drinks .
