Bit of a pity to have to go to such measures. I went to a CAMS sanctioned motorkhana last weekend & half the field were specials with fiddle brakes and other things & were no way eligible for road registration (which is why they all came in the back of vans or on trailers, like they should be)
I highly doubt you could use a UVP.

All MGCCC khanas are CAMS sanctioned. The restrictions aren't imposed by CAMS, they are imposed by SRDTC. MGCCC has the choice of abiding by their rules or not running events there. No point whinging about it, just do what everyone else does and run your daily

doubt is not a definite, hence the reason I asked if anyone could ask the organisers on the day. Maybe no ones ever questioned it?

My daily is a Hyundai Santa Fe supplied by my work (hence the reason I have a trailer & an unregistered "race" car). The foot parking brake has trouble holding the vehicle stationary on a hill, and the stability is a bit of a problem too.

Yeah, I've heard before that a UVP won't cut it, but feel free to ask (though be prepared for disappointment).

I drive my daily in the event, it's a Honda Integra Type GSi! (Known as the shitegra or driftegra). Driving a daily you won't set down great times, and you won't be having as much fun as some of the clowns in their turbo'd Nissans, but you still have fun, and that's what it's all about!

For those that haven't seen it, the SAU sutton texi entries are open. Go to NSW Events section.
